Godspeed to all that are evacuated, those people still in harm’s way; and to the brave and incredible first responders who are already staged and ready to begin the work of putting lives and property back together. Poised to restore this region.
It is gratifying and hopeful to see the Federal and State support pouring in: shelters, food, water, linemen & National Guard troops from around the country. Grass roots community efforts.
Yes! This is who we are, no “red” or “blue,” just people caring and generous, corporations providing meaningful relief for the victims as the rebuilding will begin.
America is one big community, and when we all help each other, in times of need, it makes us remember who we really are, and how fortunate we are to live in this great country… together.
